Know:
Do all of the following:
- Read the book “The Hobbit” by J. R. R. Tolkien
Understand:
- “The Hobbit” teaches that finding a purpose in life can involve stepping outside your comfort zone, embracing unexpected challenges, and discovering your inner strength, as seen through Bilbo Baggins’ journey where he learns to overcome his initial reluctance and contribute meaningfully to a greater quest, even though he’s a homebody hobbit at the start. We’re shown that anyone can find purpose and achieve great things when they commit to a meaningful goal, no matter their background or perceived limitations. What great thing have you been called to do? Not necessarily a life mission, but just a calling or purpose for now? We go through life one purpose to another and as long as we’re letting God lead us, we’re on His errand. Have you ever felt unqualified for what you’ve been asked to do? Always remember, God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies those He calls.
