I want to challenge you to take your friendships to the next level! Think of a way that you could be a better friend. Is it listening more? Using words that are kind? Including others when you play a game? Can you think of one way you could be a better friend and challenge yourself to do it?
This week, I’m assigning you to be a Secret Elf for someone in our class. The trick is keeping it a secret! I’ll text your mom so you know who you are being a Secret Elf for.
- Make your person a card or write them a note. You can tell them the things that you appreciate about them.
- Find a gift to give your person. You don’t even have to go to the store for this, instead you can make them something or you can even go in your bedroom and I bet you will find something awesome that you would be willing to give away.
Write a Book!
Can you write your own Fortunately, Unfortunately book? How fun! This is going to take a lot of creativity and luckily every single kid in our class is full of imagination!
Remember, you need your story to alternate between a good thing and a bad thing.
Make sure you write in pencil so that you can erase things if you need to.
Illustrate your book with your best drawing work.
Will you bring your book to class and read it to us? We would love to see the story you create!
Book Club
Finish reading All Of A Kind Family. In class we will talk about our favorite parts and characters and celebrate this great book together.
