This week is all about exploration—looking back at what you’ve learned and looking forward to who you are becoming.
Habit Homework
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Read the Habit 7 story:
“Sammy Squirrel’s Busy Day” from The 7 Habits of Happy Kids
This is our final habit—and it’s all about taking care of yourself so you can keep learning, growing, and exploring.
“Sharpen the Saw” means:
- Resting your body
- Learning new things
- Spending time with people you love
- Doing things that bring you peace and joy
This Week’s Challenge:
Choose 2–3 ways to “sharpen your saw” this week.
Ideas:
- Go outside and enjoy nature
- Read a book
- Create something (food, art, music, building, etc.)
- Spend time with family or help someone
- Move your body (walk, play, stretch)
- Take quiet time to think or pray
Be ready to share:
- What did you do to sharpen your saw?
- How did it help you feel?
Even explorers need to rest, grow, and prepare for their next adventure.
Astronomy Homework
You Are an Explorer & Creator
Scientists, creators, and astronauts all have something in common:
They explore.
They create.
So we are going to CREATE a song about what we love to explore.

For our final class, I am creating a special class song using the students’ ideas.
