- Watch the movie “42: The Jackie Robinson Story” and watch for the obstacles Jackie Robinson had to overcome to be the first black man in professional baseball. What good did he do for the world? Could you have done what he did and kept your cool?
Understand:
- What does it mean to say, “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar”? Is there a place in your life where you typically give “vinegar”? How can you change that to “honey” instead? How will it make a difference? What do you hope to accomplish?
