Paper Quilling
Do you know what paper quilling is? I didn’t, but I found some pictures of this art form and thought of YOU! Here’s a YouTube video to show you how.
Do you remember the play we did about Christopher Colombus? Can you do a paper quill picture from his adventures? You could do a picture of one of his ships, Queen Isabella, the ocean, or any other thing from his story that you can think of.
Make Puppets
We are going to make puppets and do puppet shows! You will need to gather some supplies. See what you have in your house that you think you could use for your puppet. Here are some ideas:
A sock, googly eyes, markers, yarn, ribbon, pipe cleaners, scissors, glue, etc.
You can easily make a puppet by drawing eyes on your sock! Or you can make a more challenging puppet by doing hair, cardboard to make the mouth, etc. Here’s a video to inspire you:
Write A Puppet Show
Can you write a little puppet show? It might be a funny little skit, a joke or a whole story that your puppet(s) tell! Can you write it down? We’ll create and perform puppet shows on Thursday at Vanguard!
