This week there are only 3 tasks to complete:
- Create and complete your yearbook pages
- Finish reading Redwall
- Complete and print your Project Life books
YEARBOOK PAGES HELPFUL INFO
Below are very important pieces of information for you to know. Please read carefully through the entire list. Reach out to Sister Pulley if you have any questions. You guys are so awesome! I can’t wait to see what you create.
- Here is a link to the list of the pages you signed up for.
- Pages are being created on Canva.
- You have two choices, you can create a new design, or choose from their templates. Choosing a template is a great way to save time.
- **IMPORTANT: Make sure the dimensions are 8.5″ x 11″
- You will create 2 pages for each topic you signed up for. Bigger activities (like Vision days, the play etc) will have more, but always in duplicates of 2.
- Your 2 pages will sit next to each other in the yearbook. This is called your “spread”.
- Each spread will include the following:
- A clear title. Make this fun to look at!
- 5 or more pictures. There are links to the pictures on the sign up page. If you still need more pictures, have your mom reach out to the other teachers to request them.
- As many details as you can include about the activity. You might also include the date.
- Here is a great tutorial video if you need a little guidance before you start.
- We hope all of your pages are complete before Thursday.
- If possible, bring your laptop to class on Thursday. You will have an opportunity to get help with any questions you might have, to get feedback, and to have your pages proofread.
- If you would like feedback before Thursday, feel free to send me a link to your design and I can help! The best email for this is victoriagarrett222@gmail.com
That’s it! Be creative! Work hard. And I’ll see you on Thursday! -Sister Garrett
